Merry Christmas
We took our second ever family photos yesterday. We decided we needed a new family photo for Christmas. As usual Cristian was adorable in his photos. Can you believe how fast he has grown? He has his nine month doctor's appointment tomorrow. He already has four teeth and weighs a small ton! We are going to my parent's house for Cristian's first Christmas. We will take lots of photos and videos so you can all see. Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
Colts Baby
So, it has been awhile since I have posted a new blog. We have been crazy busy, but let me update you on what is going on. Cristian is growing like a weed. He can hold his bottle on his own, sit up for quite awhile, roll both directions, move backwards, and even watch football. Like father, like son, Cristian loves to watch the Colts win. Chris has finished his semester. He did pretty well, in spite of the knee injury. He is very excited to get off crutches. His doctor's appointment is tomorrow. I have been busy working and taking care of Cristian.

The First Tooth!
So, as usual it has been a crazy couple of weeks. Chris has had four tests and done fairly well on them in spite of having to catch up. He continually amazes me with how intelligent and hard-working he can be. I finished the administration of the state test at work and have been struggling with a cold. Cristian has been struggling with a cold as well. So, little sleep for Cristian and mom. On another note, he still doesn't like meat. He has a new face that he makes when he doesn't like his food. He puts his lower lip over his upper lip. It is so cute!!! Also, the big news is that he got his first tooth! That might explain some of his whining. Yes he is growing up so fast. For Halloween, we went trick or treating at the mall. It was great fun, although he spent half the time on his tail and the other half sleeping. Everyone thought he looked adorable though.

Monkey Business
So, this past weekend, my dad and my sister came to visit. It was a short visit, but we had a lot of fun. My mother-in-law was also in town and had been for a few weeks. She was a great help with both Cristian and Chris. I was sad when she left because she does so much to help out. My mother-in-law and my sister took Cristian to get his pictures taken. They turned out sooooo cute! I included a couple for you to see. Yes, the monkey is mine.

The Football Game
So, these past two weeks have been interesting. I'm not doing great on my goal of posting every week, but I do have a good excuse this time. Two Saturdays ago, my husband and my brother-in-law went to play flag football with our local ward team. Amazingly, both of them blew out their knees in the same game. The injuries were about a half hour apart. What are the chances? We spent all day in the emergency room and yes, it was the joke amongst the doctors and nurses. My sister-in-law and I took the kids to get something to eat and when we returned, we asked the man directing traffic in the emergency room if we could be let back to see our husbands. He said, "Oh the football players?" Yes, even some random employee in the lobby knew about the famous football players. Chris had surgery the following Thursday to repair a torn Patellar Tendon. Mikey, my brother-in-law will he having surgery in a few weeks to repair a torn ACL. Chris will be on crutches for three months and starts physical therapy next week. Luckily his teachers are working with him, so he is going to try to finish out the semester. Cristian has also been a little under the weather. He had a minor ear infection and a cold; it seems to be clearing up though. He had his six month doctor's appointment the day after Chris' surgery. He is 15 lbs and a 1/2 oz and 26 1/4 inches long. We have started baby food, which has been an interesting challenge. It appears he is going to be a vegetarian because, so far, he hates chicken. Well, I will keep you posted on the excitement in our house. Hopefully things will settle down for awhile.

Cristian is 5 and a half Months!
So, the past few weeks have been a bit crazy. Chris has started his clinicals for school. He gets up at 4:45am on Mondays; and I thought 5:00am was crazy. Cristian is growing like a weed. He weights 15lbs 4oz. He is just now fitting into his 3 to 6 months clothes. Yes, he is still a very small weed. Cristian has also learned to scream; yes scream! He is not crying, but screaming. I think he likes hearing his voice so he is talking and screaming a lot. Needless to say, it is somewhat annoying, but he is still cute. He is also jumping a lot in his jumper. He lasts a lot longer than when I originally put him in it. He is so active and spends a lot more time playing. I miss my little guy when I'm away, but I get to spend the weekends with him. I am busy at work and at home with a million things to do, but I'm getting it done one day at a time.

School
So, this week has been a bit crazy. It was the first week of school and I did more class changes than you would think possible. Chris started his first week of this new semester. He is taking four nursing classes, a history class, two clinicals, and two labs. Cristian is growing like a weed. Here are some recent pictures of him. He just keeps getting cuter.

Our New Family Blog
So, I decided to get into the current century and publish a blog. So many things have happened this year with my family and I thought this would be a great way for you all to see what is up with us here in Utah. My husband is still in school to be a nurse. He has two and a half years left. Our son, Cristian Scott Belli was born on March 31, 2009. It is crazy yes, but I am a mom. Cristian is growing so fast and changing every day. He has already doubled in size and is eating cereal. If only he would sleep through the night. I am back to work working at West Jordan High School and loving my job; except for that getting up early thing. We finished our basement this summer and are renting it out to Chris's sister and her family. Life is busy, but we are all doing well. My goal is to update this once a week. We will see how I do.
